Woodwind Technician / Holzblasinstrumentemacher (m/w/d)
Your duties:
- Swift and orderly processing of repairs
- Carrying out development work on woodwind instruments in coordination with the design department
- Operational management of the workshop area
- Taking care of all tasks regarding the woodwind instruments
- Travelling to visit musicians and adjust their instruments, as well as travelling for marketing and development projects, e.g. testing new instruments, adjustments
- Maintaining close contact with international and European artists / instrument service / modifications / tests
- Cooperation with target artists for instrument tests / modifications / service
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training in woodwind instrument making (or equivalent qualification)
- Relevant experience in the technical support of woodwind instruments, e.g. repair and general maintenance
- Understanding of Yamaha woodwind instruments and passion for high-quality instruments
- Customer orientated style of working and excellent communication and cooperation skills
- Willingness to participate in regular training courses organised by Yamaha Europe and Yamaha Japan and occasional travel to support dealers and end customers on site
- Driving licence of advantage, but not essential
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
